WINTER 2025
MONDAYS
Minecraft Creative Adventures (K-6th): Minecraft: Creative Adventures is a course designed to help children tap into their creativity and problem-solving skills through the popular video game, Minecraft. In this course, children will have the opportunity to explore the vast and customizable world of Minecraft, using their imaginations to build and design their own structures, landscapes, and more. Along the way, they'll also have the chance to collaborate with their classmates and share ideas as they work together to bring their creative projects to life. By working together and sharing their thoughts and ideas, children will learn about the value of collaboration and the power of teamwork. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn and grow while having fun in the process!
Group Ukulele (2nd-6th): Ukulele is the new educational standard used by young students as a gateway into guitar and other stringed instruments. Using a variety of pop and folk songs, students will learn chords, finger-picking and rhythm techniques that they may use to perform pieces or accompany themselves singing. Students may transition to guitar instruction after the initial session or continue studying more advanced techniques on Ukulele. A ukulele rental will be provided for participating students.
Tumbling (K-6th): Our tumblers will learn tumbling basics, flexibility and beginning/intermediate level skills such as rolls, cartwheels and back bends. Core strength and balance are incorporated to build strength and coordination. Students will improve on their gymnastics skills, balance and increase strength through movement exercises while having a great time! Comfortable fitted clothing and athletic/tennis shoes are required. Family & friends are invited to a mini showcase of skills learned on the last day of class.
